OE Marauders fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-2 loss to Hill-McCloy on Monday. Hill-McCloy scored on a single by Emmendorfer, a single by Owens, and a stolen base by Deguise in the first inning.

The OE Marauders struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Hill-McCloy, giving up 12 runs.

Hill-McCloy scored seven runs in the second inning. Hill-McCloy batters contributing to the big inning included Bigelow, Hines, Owens, and Deguise, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Hines pitched Hill-McCloy to victory. The ace allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out seven.

Gracie Schultz took the loss for OE Marauders. Schultz lasted two innings, allowing eight hits and ten runs while striking out one.

Maddisyn Miller, Kaitlyn Fry, Olivia Burt, and Zoe Baiz each collected one hit to lead OE Marauders.

Hill-McCloy tallied 11 hits in the game. Hines, Bickel, and Owens all managed multiple hits for Hill-McCloy. Hines went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Hill-McCloy in hits. Hill-McCloy was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Bickel made the most plays with nine.
