The Varsity Lady Marauders began the 2024 season with a strong start.     The lady Marauders racked up 15 runs on 6 hits, and 4 walks.  

Junior Jamie Houska led all hitters with 2 at bats, 3 runs scored on 2 hits and an RBI.    Grieder and Miller led the team in RBI's with two.   

Kaitlyn Fry got the start in the circle with 1.1 innings pitched, 3 strike outs and 1 walk.   Mercades Grieder finished the game for the Marauders pitching 1.0 innings, 2 strike outs and 1 walk, earning her first Varsity pitching win of the 2024 season.  

The Ovid-Elsie Varsity Marauder Softball Team won the second game of the double header 16-1 to sweep the Durand Railroaders.  Mercades Grieder pitches game two as well, getting the win with 3.0 innings pitched, striking out 4 batters and walking 2.   Junior Olyvia Coon led all hitters in game two with 3 at bats, 3 runs scored on 2 hits, and 4 RBI's.
