What we do: Support our student athletes by helping coaches finance needed upgrades to facilities or equipment.

Who we are:  We are you! A collective of OE parents, graduates, and coaches. Our current voting board members are as follows: President- Becky Bukantis, Vice President- Luke Martin, Treasurer- Mike Loynes, Secretary- Amy Knickerbocker, Trustee- Michele Moore, Trustee- Tracy Somers, Athletic Director- Chris Winters. 

Where and when: Meetings usually take place in the community room at the high school the second Sunday of every month at 7pm. Come join us and see what we are all about!

How to make a request: In order to make a request, the head coach will need to fill out the “request form” and submit it to the athletic director. Then the coach will present it to the board at the next meeting. Typically, the board will hear the request and then table the final decision until the next meeting to allow time for discussion or public comment. It is customary for the sport making the request to try to raise at least half of the cost of the requested item(s) themselves.  

How we raise money: 

• Sponsorships- Every July we send out a letter to local businesses that offers them advertising at athletic functions. 
• Memberships- Parents or community members can join for $20 a year with every cent being put back towards the sports programs. 
• Events- Such as the golf outing in September and reverse raffle in March. We are always open to new fundraising event ideas!
• Queen of Hearts Raffle- New this year in conjunction with wrestling, softball, and baseball. 
• Concessions- Most of the concession stands throughout the fall, winter, and spring directly benefit the sports boosters and sports teams. If a program helps man a concession stand they can earn in excess of $10 an hour per person (on average)! 

Recent Projects we have helped with:

• Scholarships every year for graduating student athletes
• Tennis wind screens and rebound backboard. 
• Volleyball new net systems 
• Help athletics with cost of Hudl systems every year
• Swim new timing systems
• Baseball fencing in front of dugouts and cement under bleachers + batting cage.
