Marauders Lose: -
The Boys Varsity Cross Country team began their championship season at the Genesee fairgrounds. The boys took 3rd out of 9 teams in the small school division. They were lead by Clay Powell who was 4th (first team all area) in the division. He was followed by 3 other all area athletes, Gunner McCreery (10th), Joshua Miller (11th), and JD Miller (12th)

The Ovid Elsie Boys Cross Country team traveled to Taymouth Park near Birch Run for their last invitational of the Cross Country season. The boys had 2 medalist and were lead by Clay Powell who took 17th in the 135 man field. The other medalist was JD Miller who took 49th. The top 5 was rounded out by Gunner McCreery (55th), James Kelly (57th), and Austin Smith (59th). The boys took 7th out of 22 teams.

The boys varsity cross country team competed at the showboat park in the 2nd MMAC league meet of the season. They took 2nd in the meet behind New Lothrop. They were lead by Clay Powell who had a 20 second personal best to take 4th. He was followed by freshman Josh Miller who took 10th with a massive PB. The top 5 was rounded out by Ryan Gavanda in 15th, James Kelly in 17th, and Austin Smith in 19th.

Marauders Win: 70 - 30
The Ovid Elsie Boys Cross Country Team competed at Byron High School. The boys team took 3rd in the 8 team league. They were lead by Clay Powell who took 4th in the race. He was followed by James Kelly who took 10th overall. They were followed by Joshua Miller who took 18th, Gunner McCreery in 22nd and Ryan Gavenda in 23rd.

The Varsity boys cross country team competed at their home invite in the large school division. The team took 9th in the 13 school field. They were lead by Clay Powell who took 19th and made the podium. He was followed by James Kelly (40th), Ryan Gavenda (45th), JD Miller (46th), and Austin Smith (60th).   
Boys Varsity Cross Country at Saranac Invitational

The Varsity boys cross country team traveled to Saranac for their third meet of the season. They took 6th out of 11 teams in the invite. They lead by Clay Powell (18th), and James Kelly (29th) who both made the podium. They remainder of our top 5 were Austin Smith, JD Miller, and Levi Ruben. 
4th Annual Happy Acres Invite

The boys varsity cross country had its second meet of the season at the Happy Acres cross country course on a beautiful morning outside of Webberville. The boys ran to an 8th place finiish in the 19 team field. They were led by Clay Powell who set a new personal best of 18:24. He was fallowed by James Kelly who also ran a personal best of 19:18. The top 5 were rounded out by JD Miller, Ryan Gavenda, and Gunner McCreery.

The Ovid Elsie boys cross country team started their season at "Under the Lights" at St John's High School. The boys team took 4th out 14 teams. They were lead by Clay Powell who took 15th in a time of 18:41. He was fallowed by Ryan Gavenda who finished in 25th in at time 19:29. The top 5 was rounded out by James Kelly who took 31st, Joshua Miller who took 37th, and Austin Smith who took 43rd.
