Regionals at Chesaning
We managed to have one athlete move onto the state finals in a very warm/windy day at Chesaning. Tryce Tokar, just a freshman, won the pole vault at 13'6". His best so far this year is 14'0". We manage to be 10th out of 16 teams with 29.66 points. Sanford-Meridian was the winner with 105 points. Others who received medals were:
5th - 4x800 Relay - Gunner McCreery/Jacob Schaub/Nick Long/Jamison Custer 9:21.10
Pole Vault - Andrew Hall 10'3"
Long Jump - Clay Wenzlick 18'10.75"
6th - Shot Put - Dylan Taylor 43"7.5"
7th - 4x200 Relay - Kaden West/Bruce Thornton/Eddy Evans/Christian Schmidtfranz 1:39.87
8th - 800 - Tokar 2:13.26
3200 - Clay Powell 11:18.51
High Jump - Clay Wenzlick and Ryan Gavenda (Tie) 5'5"
