Four RBI Day For Ashland Particka Leads OE Marauders Past Perry

Ashland Particka came the ballpark and meant business on Friday, driving in four on three hits to lead OE Marauders past Perry 17-1 on Friday. Particka drove in runs on a triple in the first and a triple in the second.

OE Marauders secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the second inning. OE Marauders's big bats in the inning were led by an error on a ball put in play by Skylar Bowen, Zoe Baiz, and Paula Olger, doubles by Jolene Nash, Olivia Burt, and Maddisyn Miller, a triple by Particka, a single by Charleigh Gadd, and a home run by Miller.

OE Marauders got on the board in the first inning. Particka tripled on a 2-2 count, scoring three runs.

OE Marauders put up ten runs in the second inning. OE Marauders's big inning was driven by an error on a ball put in play by Bowen, Baiz, and Olger, doubles by Nash, Burt, and Miller, a triple by Particka, a single by Gadd, and a home run by Miller.

Kaitlyn Fry took the win for OE Marauders. The righthander went four innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out two.

Thornish took the loss for Perry. The hurler lasted one and one-third innings, allowing nine hits and 12 runs while striking out one.

OE Marauders socked one home run on the day. Miller had a long ball in the second inning.

OE Marauders tallied 15 hits. Particka, Miller, Allyson Pokorny, Nash, and Burt each collected multiple hits for OE Marauders. Particka went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead OE Marauders in hits.
