Olivia Burt was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Monday, driving in four on three hits to lead OE Marauders past Byron 16-4 on Monday. Burt drove in runs on a home run in the first, a single in the fourth, and a single in the fourth.

OE Marauders secured the victory thanks to 11 runs in the fourth inning. Burt, Maddisyn Miller, Kaitlyn Fry, Gracie Schultz, Jolene Nash, and Olyvia Darling all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

OE Marauders got things started in the first inning. Burt hit a solo homer.

OE Marauders evened things up at two in the top of the second inning. Allyson Pokorny singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

OE Marauders pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Fry singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Nash tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

OE Marauders put up 11 runs in the fourth inning. OE Marauders's offense in the inning came from walks by Fry, Darling, Pokorny, and Miller, singles by Burt, Schultz, and Burt, and by Miller and Nash.

Fry led the OE Marauders to victory in the circle. The righthander surrendered four runs on six hits over five innings, striking out five.

Esperance took the loss for Byron. The hurler allowed 11 hits and 13 runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out one.

OE Marauders launched one home run on the day. Burt had a long ball in the first inning.

OE Marauders tallied 12 hits on the day. Burt, Nash, Pokorny, Fry, and Schultz each had multiple hits for OE Marauders. Burt went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead OE Marauders in hits.

Franks led Byron with two hits in three at bats.
