Jolene Nash would not be denied at the plate on Monday, picking up four hits and leading OE Marauders to a 10-3 win over Byron. Nash singled in the second, singled in the third, doubled in the fourth, and singled in the seventh.

Byron captured the lead in the second inning. An error scored one run for Byron.

OE Marauders took the lead for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Nash singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Skylar Bowen singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Olivia Burt pitched OE Marauders to victory. The righthander surrendered three runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one.

Esperance took the loss for Byron. Esperance lasted seven innings, allowing 15 hits and ten runs while striking out 11.

OE Marauders saw the ball well today, racking up 15 hits in the game. Nash, Allyson Pokorny, Alexis Hart, Burt, and Maddisyn Miller each racked up multiple hits for OE Marauders. Nash went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead OE Marauders in hits.

Viele led Byron with two hits in four at bats.
