OE Marauders stayed in it until the end, but Chesaning pulled away late in a 10-8 victory on Monday. Chesaning trailed 8-7 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Oakes singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

Despite the loss, OE Marauders did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Chesaning had nine hits on the way to victory.

Chesaning opened up an early lead in the first inning when Oakes drew a walk, scoring one run.

After OE Marauders scored one run in the top of the third, Chesaning answered with one of their own. Chesaning then answered when Hereoux grounded out, scoring one run.

Deveranx led the Chesaning to victory on the rubber. Deveranx went three innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits and striking out five. Russell threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Russell recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Chesaning.

OE Marauders racked up eight hits on the day. Maddisyn Miller and Burt each racked up multiple hits for OE Marauders. Miller went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead OE Marauders in hits.
