OE Marauders took the lead late in the game in a 10-8 victory over Laingsburg on Friday. OE Marauders trailed 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Jolene Nash doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

OE Marauders built a six-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Laingsburg's charge. Laingsburg scored four runs in the failed comeback on a single by Bila, a groundout by Bila, a single by Langdon, and a triple by Cataline.

Laingsburg scored four runs in the sixth inning. The big inning for Laingsburg came thanks to singles by Bila and Langdon, a triple by Cataline, and a groundout by Bila.

Olivia Burt was the winning pitcher for OE Marauders. The righthander allowed six hits and four runs over three innings, striking out one and walking zero. Gracie Schultz threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Schultz recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for OE Marauders.

Cataline took the loss for Laingsburg. Cataline surrendered ten runs on 14 hits over four and two-thirds innings.

OE Marauders scattered 15 hits in the game. Karrigan Cuthbert, Schultz, Burt, Nash, and Zoe Baiz each had multiple hits for OE Marauders. Schultz and Cuthbert each collected three hits to lead OE Marauders.

Laingsburg totaled 11 hits. Bila, Langdon, Wagner, and Cataline all managed multiple hits for Laingsburg.
