OE Marauders watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 19-4 loss to Laingsburg on Friday. Laingsburg scored on a single by Wagner and a grand slam by Baynes in the first inning.

The OE Marauders struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Laingsburg, giving up 19 runs.

Cataline earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for Laingsburg. The bulldog went five innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and striking out five.

Kaitlyn Fry took the loss for OE Marauders. Fry surrendered six runs on five hits over one inning, striking out two.

OE Marauders smacked one home run on the day. Burt went for the long ball in the third inning.

OE Marauders racked up eight hits in the game. Burt and Karrigan Cuthbert all collected multiple hits for OE Marauders. Cuthbert and Burt each collected two hits to lead OE Marauders.
