An early lead helped OE Marauders defeat Superior Central 19-5 on Saturday. OE Marauders scored on a single by Jolene Nash in the first inning.

Superior Central scored four runs in the third inning, but OE Marauders still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Superior Central came thanks to singles by Tyner and Johnson and a double by Charlebois.

OE Marauders scored 12 runs in the second inning. Olivia Burt, Skylar Bowen, Alexis Butcher-Hart, Zoe Baiz, Ashland Particka, and Gracie Schultz all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Schultz got the win for OE Marauders. The righty lasted three innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out three. Kaitlyn Fry threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Fry recorded the last three outs to earn the save for OE Marauders.

Rutter took the loss for Superior Central. The bulldog surrendered 17 runs on seven hits over two innings, striking out two.

OE Marauders totaled eight hits. Fry and Nash all collected multiple hits for OE Marauders. Fry went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead OE Marauders in hits. OE Marauders was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Particka had the most chances in the field with six.

Lampinen led Superior Central with two hits in two at bats.
