Ovid- Elsie Varsity Marauders won big over the Durand Railroaders 12-6 on Monday. 

Ovid-Elsie got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Brody Howard doubled, scoring one run, Corbyn Janes drew a walk, scoring one run, Caven Brooks drew a walk, scoring one run, and Brayden Leland doubled, scoring two runs.

Jake Bowen homered to left field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the fourth for O-E.  

Janes earned the win for the Marauders.   They gave up one hit and five runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out nine and walking five.    Freshman Brody Howard threw two innings of zero-run ball for OE in relief.    

Brooks went 2-for-3 at the plate as they led the team with five runs batted in.  OE accumulated nine walks for the game.  Javen Belill, Lane Wiktorowski, and Jake Bowen led the team with two walks each.
