Ovid-Elsie could not escape two long innings late in the game, eventually losing to Corunna by a score of 16-4. O-E took a 4-2 lead into the top of the 5th inning where Corunna proceeded to score 5 runs to take the lead for good.
At the plate the Marauders tallied 7 hits, led by Keigan Ormes who was 1-3 with 2 RBI's. Seven Marauders each had one hit a piece.
The Marauders got a good start from Tyler Bancroft who pitched 4 and 1/3 innings before running out of gas, giving up just 4 hits, 7 runs (only 4 earned), striking out 3, and walking only 2.
