In a back-and-forth game Ovid Elsie could not overcome 6 errors on the day, eventually losing 7-6 on a walk-off single by Montrose.
O-E out hit the Rams 9-7 at the plate but in the end it was not enough. Brandon Zruna led the Marauders going 3-4 with 2 RBI's. Kayden Leslie and Braxton Stenger each collected 2 hits and 2 runs scored on the day as well. Stenger also stole 2 bases.
Strarting on the mound for the Marauders, Carson Gregory went 5 innings, gave up 5 runs (only 1 earned), and had 8 strikeouts to just 2 walks. Coming on in relief and taking the loss was Kayden Leslie who went 1 and 2/3 innings, giving up 2 runs (0 earned), and striking out 3.
