Girls Junior Varsity Basketball defeat Clinton 37-26

The Junior Varsity Lady Marauders traveled to Clinton and picked up the win. The Marauders jumped out to an early lead by pressuring the basketball and with great passing in transition. Clinton tried to press the Marauders early and that led to several easy buckets to start the game. The Marauders were paced by freshman Hadley Bukantis with 14 and Isabella Loynes with 7. Bukantis was a force on the boards as well and energized the press break with great passing that lead to several layup opportunities. After the 1st quarter the Marauders led 12-2 and never looked back. Kylee Milledge put 5 points up for the Marauders. Murphy Alexa and Rylee Lewis, and Onie Rademacher each chipped in 4 points, Rylee Lewis and Cari Martinez each had 2. The Marauders will play host to Sexton, next Tuesday, December 10th. Game will be at 7:00 in the Auxillary gym. The varsity girls will play at 5:30 in the main gym.
