Ovid-Elsie came out very strong, working well together and being aggressive at the net. We started to slip by making lots of mistakes on our side of the net. The scores across all 4 sets were so close. Our girls worked very hard the entire game. Biggest thing to take from this loss is when making our mistakes at the wrong time and how to pull ourselves out of those mistakes quickly and get back to playing our game. Perry was very smart in their playing and finding our holes on the floor. They had lots of very strong servers and #9 was a strong middle in both blocking and hitting. Game scores were Set 1 25-12 OE, Set 2 20-25 Perry, Set 3 23-25 Perry, Set 4 24-26 Perry. Senior Kalista Bancroft had a great night at the net and in the back row. She had 18 kills, 5 digs, 16 serves with 3 Aces. Senior Braylon Byrnes had a great night once again being our top server with 23 serves with 5 Aces, 7 Digs and 20 Assists. She was very smart at the net and once again keeping her head in the game with the calls going against her. Great game to learn from and get back to the drawing board to fix our mistakes and get ready for the next game.
