It was a great night for volleyball. Both teams came in strong and played their hearts out. Ovid-Elsie pulled off the Win after a long hard fought 5 sets. Each set was always a close score except for the 3rd set where Ovid-Elsie had a little trouble keeping up the energy. Ovid-Elsie played an awesome game and showed all their hard work they had been putting in at practices. Game scores Set 1 25-20 OE, Set 2 24-26 Webberville, Set 3 13-25 Webberville, Set 4 25-15 OE, Set 5 15-10 OE. We had a big night of players stepping up and filling their roles perfectly. My Senior setter Braylon Byrnes played a great game and keep her head in the game the entire night even with all the calls being called against her. She was are top server of the night with her hard serves and spot serving. My Sophomore setter Evalyn Cole came out on her first Varsity game very strong. Her defense was on point and she stepped up and was communicating very well with Braylon. Senior Caitlyn Walter was very smart with all her decisions. No matter what position I put her in she filled her job and earned us lots of points with her smart choices at the net and he quick defense. Sophomore Hailee Campbell had a huge night for her first Varsity game. She was big at the net cleaning up with her blocks and picking up lots of tip balls. She had lots of kills along with her serves, earning us lots of points with her ace serves. It was a great game on both sides of the net, very proud of my Marauders!!!!
