With hazy skies above, the Lady Marauders ran their first of three conference meets of the season. Coming into the day, we were ranked fourth in the conference and overperformed on a twisty, technical course. Added into the tough course, our Marauders had to wait in the heat since they were the second run of the day. While most times were not as fast as hoped, each athlete gave it their all and it shows with their places. The marauders tied for second place but lost the tiebreaker tonight. However, this meet has shown that while small, this team has the talent to compete at the top of the conference. Congrats to Alexis Spitzley on her 3rd place overall finish as well as achieving her personal record. Joining her with a personal best today was Kaia Spiess! The Lady Marauders will have a week and a half to train before they host a quad meet at home on the 26th
