We played 2 games in 2 days this week. Last night we fought hard to get back in the win column. It was a hard fought game against Durand trying to avenge a loss earlier this season on the road. Last time we were down two players and missed a bunch of free-throws. Well last night we weren't 100% but we were on a mission. We started out a little slow but managed to have a 4 point lead at the end of the 1st quarter 9-5. The scoring was better in the 2nd quarter, we took a 2 point lead into the half 19-17. In the first half we were plagued by turnovers at pivotal times, we ended up having 16 turnovers in the first half. We came out in the second half and actually played pretty well and took a 34-29 lead into the final quarter, during the 4th quarter it was a back and forth but we managed to keep our composure and finished the game strong and won 51-46. Clay Powell played great defense on Durand's leading scorer and didn't give up a point while guarding him, which was a huge reason for our sucess last night. We host Corunna on 2/13 at home and host Chesaning on 2/16.
