On Monday 12/12 we traveled over to New Lothrop to take on the Hornets. We started pretty sluggish but managed to hang in there and eventually take the lead 17-15 going into half time. We had some foul trouble in the first half but our defense was pretty solid. In the 3rd quarter we got out to a slow start and ended up getting behind due to some shots not falling and some miscues on defense. We ended up getting it together but in the end we ran out of time and came up short 35-41. It was a hard fought game and I take full responsibility as a coach for our mistakes. We were led in scoring by Jayce Herblet with 8 points and 3 rebounds to go with 6 steals, Jake Bowen ended up with 6 points and 8 rebounds in limited action due to foul trouble, Ben Wildes had 5 points, Braxton O'Bryant had 5 points and 11 rebounds and 3 steals, Clayton Fruchey had 4 points and 4 steals, Mikey Bancroft had 4 points, Clay Powell added 2 points 3 rebounds and 2 steals, Joe bancroft capped off our scoring with 1 point. We drop to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in MMAC play. We travel to Chesaning on Thursday 12/15 to take on another tough team in conference play.
