We played our first home game on 12/8/22 and the team got a huge win 61-28 over Montrose. The boys started out really well and got off to a 22-3 lead at the end of the first quarter. We held the Rams to single digits in 3 out of the four quarters.Overall we shot the ball well. We out rebounded the Rams 39-28 on the night. Jake Bowen led us with the first double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds, Jayce Herblet had 9 pointsand 3 rebounds, Ben Wildes with 8 points and 4 boards, Braxton O'Bryant had 8 points and 6 boards, Javen Belill and Clayton Fruchey each had 7 points, Joe Bancroft ended the night with 5 points, Joe Zuniga had a career night with his first high school points and finished the game with 4 points and 6 rebounds, and to finish things out Clay Powell had 1 point and played some very tough defense. With the win we start off 2-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
