Ovid Elsie 3 Lakeville 1
In the final conference matchup Ovid Elsie beat Lakeville 3-1. The scoring got underway with a rocket from distance from a stolen ball by Colin Fluharty. The hit crossbar bounced then hit the crossbar again before hitting the net. Lakeville came back to tie it up with a shot by Caleb Griswold. It ended in a tie at half. Ovid Elsie then found the net 2 more times in the second half first by Jackson Thornton then Josh Swender to clinch the game. Camren Cuthbert had both assists.
I am glad of the outcome. We have been struggling through injuries all season but the boys pulled out the win to keep us undefeated in the conference.
