After a 2-0 loss to Sheppard in the season opener, OE came out to a early lead against Durand with a long pass from defense-men Colin Fluharty that connected with Jackson Thornton who found the back of the net. Jackson Thorton had 3 goals and a assist. Chandler Whitford made a beautiful header goal with a perfectly placed cross form Ian Heher (2 assists). Camren Cuthbert had a goal and Josh Swender had an assit.
I think we improved greatly from our first game of the season. It was hard to play our first game without being able to scrimmage and work the kinks out. I think we will be getting better every game moving forward.
Durand had two goals from Adam Pruett and Lilly Scripter.
