OE Marauders defeated Perry 14-4 on Friday thanks in part to Ashland Particka, who drove in five runners. Particka drove in runs on a grand slam in the second and a single in the fifth.

Perry got on the board in the first inning. Thornish grounded out, scoring one run.

After Perry scored two runs in the top of the third, OE Marauders answered with two of their own. Perry scored when Thornish grounded out, scoring one run and Kloekner tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. OE Marauders then answered when Jolene Nash doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run and Allyson Pokorny singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

OE Marauders pulled away for good with six runs in the second inning. In the second Kaitlyn Fry tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Gracie Schultz singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, and Particka homered on a 1-0 count, scoring four runs.

Schultz led the OE Marauders to victory in the circle. The righthander allowed seven hits and four runs over five innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Mattison took the loss for Perry. Mattison lasted four innings, allowing 13 hits and 14 runs while striking out three.

OE Marauders socked one home run on the day. Particka went yard in the second inning.

OE Marauders collected 13 hits on the day. Schultz, Particka, Olivia Burt, and Maddisyn Miller all collected multiple hits for OE Marauders. Particka and Schultz all had three hits to lead OE Marauders.

Perry tallied seven hits. Kloekner and Sterrett each racked up multiple hits for Perry.
