OE Marauders had trouble keeping up with Corunna in a 13-4 loss on Wednesday.

OE Marauders got on the board in the first inning. OE Marauders scored one run when Ashland Particka tripled.

Corunna knotted the game up at two in the top of the second inning, when Campos singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

After Corunna scored two runs in the top of the seventh, OE Marauders answered with two of their own. Corunna scored when Patrick singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run and Edington grounded out, scoring one run. OE Marauders then answered when an error scored one run for OE Marauders and Maddisyn Miller singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Corunna pulled away for good with one run in the third inning. In the third Alchin grounded out, scoring one run.

Corunna scored five runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Corunna came thanks to a walk by Cunningham, a single by Rau, a groundout by Ryon, an error on a ball put in play by Alchin, and a double by Campos.

Henry was credited with the victory for Corunna. Henry surrendered four runs on 11 hits over seven innings, striking out one and walking zero.

Olivia Burt took the loss for OE Marauders. The righty went seven innings, allowing 13 runs on 15 hits and striking out five.

OE Marauders collected 11 hits. Particka, Miller, and Zoe Baiz each collected multiple hits for OE Marauders. Particka went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead OE Marauders in hits.

Corunna racked up 15 hits in the game. Patrick, Campos, and Rau all collected multiple hits for Corunna. Patrick led Corunna with five hits in five at bats.
