Despite a 5-run deficit in the sixth inning, OE Marauders almost came all the way back, eventually falling 6-4 to Hill-McCloy on Monday. OE Marauders scored three runs on a double in the seventh inning.

OE Marauders fell behind early in the loss. Hill-McCloy scored on a double by Emmendorfer in the first inning, a double by Owens in the first inning, a single by Bickel in the first inning, and a double by Owens in the second inning.

Hill-McCloy opened up scoring in the first inning, when Emmendorfer doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

OE Marauders scored three runs in the seventh inning. OE Marauders scored its runs on a double by Allyson Pokorny.

Hines was the winning pitcher for Hill-McCloy. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing four runs on four hits, striking out 16 and walking one.

Olivia Burt took the loss for OE Marauders. The pitcher went six innings, allowing six runs on 15 hits, striking out seven and walking zero.

Maddisyn Miller, Pokorny, Jolene Nash, and Gracie Schultz each collected one hit to lead OE Marauders.

Hill-McCloy totaled 15 hits. Hines, Bickel, Emmendorfer, and Owens all managed multiple hits for Hill-McCloy. Hines led Hill-McCloy with four hits in four at bats.
