In game 1 of the league double-header, O-E had trouble keeping up with Chesaning in a 12-2 loss in 6 innings on Thursday. The Marauders took a 2-0 lead into the top of the 6th inning where Chesaning took advantage of some walks, timely hits, and Marauder errors to score 12 runs.

Ian Hehrer took the loss for O-E. The righthander allowed five hits and five runs over five and a third innings, striking out two.

At the plate, Keigan Ormes and Brandon Zruna each collected one hit to lead O-E, the only two hits O-E had in the game. O-E struggled putting the ball in play against Chesaning pitcher Tyler Sager, who struck out 15 Marauders.
